Made from solid English oak and hand-finished in our Surrey Hills workshop, our personalised wooden chopping boards are built to be used. Properly used. Day after day, year after year, without losing an ounce of their character. The weight of the oak, the warmth of the grain, the satisfying solidity when you pick it up — these are not things you find in a chopping board from a kitchen shop.
Available in a choice of sizes and timber options, each board is made to order. You can leave it beautifully plain, or engrave it with lettering — a name, initials, a date, a phrase, or a motif from our collection of hand-carved symbols and zodiac signs. The engraving is cut into the timber, not printed on it, so it will still be there in twenty years.
For something a little more personal, we can engrave a message on the underside of the board — invisible from above, but always there. A wedding reading, a favourite recipe, something you want to keep just between you and whoever it’s for.
