The thought-through bread board for people who love the ritual of a good loaf.

Our personalised round bread board with crumb collector brings a clever solution to the only problem a good bread board has. The circular oak board sits within a matching tray that catches every crumb as you slice — keeping your worktop clean and making the whole experience feel considered and complete. Made from solid English oak and hand-finished in our Surrey Hills workshop.

The round form is generous and welcoming — ideal at the breakfast table, on a kitchen island, or brought out at brunch. The board itself can be personalised with engraved lettering or a carved motif, and a private message can be added to the underside for something quietly personal.

This board makes a genuinely lovely gift — for a new home, a wedding, a birthday, or simply for someone who would appreciate the difference between something ordinary and something properly made. It is also the kind of thing you buy for yourself and wonder how you managed without.

All engravings are in capitals as standard; lower case available on request at checkout. Allow 7–10 working days.

Care Information

Finish: All our boards leave the workshop treated with multiple coats of our 100% natural, vegan-rated, food-safe chopping board oil — no solvents, no hardeners, just pure plant-based oils that are completely safe for food contact.

Aftercare: Your board will reward a little attention. We recommend re-oiling regularly with our food-safe chopping board oil, which is available on the website. This keeps the timber nourished, helps prevent staining and discolouration, and guards against drying, cracking or warping over time. Think of it as feeding the wood — the more you do it, the better the board looks and performs.

Daily care: Always hand-wash with warm soapy water and dry immediately — never leave it sitting in water or put it in the dishwasher. Avoid leaving moist foods (such as cheese or citrus) on the surface for extended periods. Keep the board away from direct heat, direct sunlight, and damp surfaces. Do not store in a garage, shed or anywhere subject to temperature extremes.

About solid timber: Wood is a living material. It will expand and contract gently as the seasons change and humidity shifts — this is completely normal and entirely expected. You may notice very fine hairline cracks developing over time; these are a natural characteristic of solid timber and in no way affect the performance of your board. Regular oiling is the single best thing you can do to minimise movement.
