Our Timber:

Every one of these personalised carving boards is completely made to order from the finest Superior Grade hardwoods namely English Oak and North American Black Walnut from the North Appalachian Region of New England. These stunning, slow grown timbers are extremely durable and simply beautiful. We then spend many hours finishing and polishing the boards until they’re absolutely perfect. All of this is done by hand, from scratch, in our Surrey Hills workshop. Our personalised carving boards are simply stunning!

Carving Board configuration:

Size and Thickness – The personalised carving board come in two thicknesses as well as two sizes to suit you and your kitchen setup.

Carving Grooves – Choose from either, descending juice grooves, which allows the delicious juices from your roasting joint to collect into a well – OR – an outer groove with corner well and spout. Both styles will capture the juices making it easier to add to your gravy. 

No matter which configuration you go for, both carving boards will make life easier for carving your bird or meat joint. It simply comes down to which one works better for you. All of our caving boards include side handles for easy lifting and carrying.

Adding Carving Board Meat Spikes:

You can now add meat spikes to your personalised wooden carving board for keeping your joint, chicken or turkey still while you carve. The spikes are made from stainless steel so they won’t rust, and they can be added to any of the carving board styles or sizes we offer. If you do order your board with spikes, the board will come with a matching wooden cover. The spikes are permanently attached to the board.

All natural food safe oil:

All of our wooden carving boards are treated with several coats of all natural Vegan rated food safe chopping board oil. There is nothing harmful in our oils, no hardeners or solvents, no bi-products, just 100% non-toxic natural plant based oils. Meaning our chopping boards are perfectly safe to use and we would have it no other way. This does mean aftercare and regular oiling is essential to keep your meat board protected.

Personalise your Carving Board:

Each wooden carving board can be simply left blank or personalised with your choice of personalised words or lettering. Side 1 is included in the price. You can also add further engraving on side 2 for an additional cost – perfect for names and dates or other preferred wording. You can also add carved symbols like hearts, stars and other engraved motifs like zodiac signs. We can also engrave a secret or personal message for you on the underside of your carving board, making it that little bit extra special. Something like a reading from your wedding day, a favourite poem or quote, something witty, your favourite family recipe or just something secret you don’t want anyone else to see – but you know it’s there.

Large: 35cm x 50cm (14” x 20”) ~ Up to 25 characters per side

XLarge: 40cm x 60cm (16” x 24”) ~ Up to 30 characters per side

All sizes are approximate. All of our caving boards include side handles for easy lifting and carrying. Our XLarge carving boards only comes in the 4.5cm thickness.
