Reversible End Grain Chopping Boards

These very high quality Reversible end grain chopping boards are ideal for chopping on one side and carving a roast on the other.

They have inset side handles in the middle of the board, so you can continuously rotate the cutting board with ease. One side of the board is completely flat, ideal for chopping vegetables and fruit. The other side features a large surface groove for catching juices from roasting joints. We can also add a corner well and spout, like our traditional wooden carving boards if needed, perfect for collecting the meat juices in one place making it easy to be added to your gravy or sauce.

What’s special about our end grain chopping boards is that not only are they extremely hardwearing and beautiful to look at but they are also kinder to the knife blade. This is because when your knife cuts down on an end grain chopping board it passes between the fibres of the wooden chopping board, the fibres then close up again once the blade is removed. It’s not difficult to see why these chopping boards are the No.1 choice for professional chefs and butchers.

End grain chopping blocks also make fantastic trivets, ideal for hot pans and roasting trays straight from the oven.

All of our personalised wooden gifts can be personalised with your choice of words or lettering. The reason we don’t offer engraving on this board is because it is reversible. However, if you would like engraved lettering on your new End grain chopping block, please get in touch.
