MakeMeSomethingSpecial only use the finest timber on the planet to create our stunning personalised wooden cheese boards, namely English Oak sourced less than 20 miles from our Surrey Hills workshop or American Black Walnut found in the Appalachian Region of New England. Every one is carefully put together, from scratch, by hand, to order by our skilled craftsmen.

Our oak cheese boards are nothing like the boards you’ll find elsewhere on the market. They’re thick, durable and built to last for many decades to come. This is down to a huge amount of time being spent on the construction process of each individual board. They’re made up from full length jointed staves which gives these wooden cheese boards incredible strength and stability. Each piece of timber is hand selected by us to guarantee the the quality of the timber is perfect, we then colour each piece as we go giving the finished product the effects of being a single piece of timber. Once created, our beautiful round cheese boards are repeatedly hand sanded until silky smooth.

All of our engraved cheese boards are treated with several coats of all natural Vegan rated food safe chopping board oil. There is nothing harmful in our oils, no hardeners or solvents, no bi-products, just 100% non-toxic natural plant based oils. Meaning our chopping boards are perfectly safe to use and we would have it no other way. This does mean aftercare and regular oiling is essential to keep your chopping board protected.

Personalised round wooden cheese boards are available in two thicknesses and are available in two beautiful timber variations: English Oak and American Black Walnut. These slow grown timbers are some of the must highly prized timbers in the world and sought after by many fine furniture makers.

Personalise your Cheese Board:

These round cheese boards are available blank or can be personalised with your choice of words or lettering – perfect for names and dates, making them a truly wonderful and unique gift. We have split the boards into two halves, allowing you to engrave either one or two sides if preferred. This personal inscription will never fade.

To personalise your cheese board even further, you can add 2 carved swirly initials on the top of your cheese board. both intwined together, making it an ideal gift for the Bride and Groom.
